12 Days of Christmas: Reading Wish List

On Sunday, I made a terrible mistake. At the time, I had no idea that it would affect me for the rest of the week, but it has. My mistake? I went to the grocery store. The result? I’ve had “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” stuck in my head for three days straight. But what’s even worse is that my brain has created a monstrous hybrid with “I’ve Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts.”

Thanks to the internet, I know I’m not the only one who thinks “I Want a Lovely Cocopotamus” should be a thing. But it still doesn’t change the fact that I’ve been prancing around the house singing: “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas. Every one you throw will make me rich!” for the past three days.

But as long as Gayla Peevey’s forcing her fantastically impossible Christmas hopes and dreams upon me, I thought it might be fun to force an equally impossible wish list upon you, by sharing a few things I’d love to see in the next fantasy series I read!

Without further ado, I give you:

The 12 Days of Litmas*!
